Have you ever met an online friend in real life? How did it go?
I've only done this once, but it was a big one!
Right after I hit "save" on my post, a man in Australia did the same thing. He saw my blog in "recent posts" and thought I was cute, checked out my blog, and commented. We messaged back and forth for a year - as an American, I love all things Australian - before I booked a ticket to Sydney. We were engaged a week later, before I returned to the US, and married after 3 months. I have been married to my Vox neighbor for 14 months now and although the long distance (I still live in the States and he is still in Sydney) is difficult, I'm still thankful that I took the chance on meeting my online friend in real life.
